14 DAY TRIAL // We've heard about PC phone docks and independent stands, but never about a keyboard that has such a thing. That must be why ROCCAT designed the Skeltr gaming keyboard the way it did. Its full features are seen in the pictures and contained in the PR below, but the stand warrants a specific mention.
Located to the upper left of the main keypad, it will always show you when you get a call or message and allow you to respond without having to pause your game to pick it up. It's easy to tap the speaker option and just go on with what you were doing while talking to whoever is contacting you.
Maybe in the future there will be some kind of phone-keyboard-PC dock app that will automatically reduce the game volume when you answer a call, but for now it's just about location convenience.
The other peripheral, the Nyth mouse, can go from MMO mouse to MOBA mouse and even FPS mouse by adjusting sensitivity settings on the fly, among other things. You even have a detachable side part and modular buttons.
ROCCAT is showcasing the Skeltr keyboard (RGB backlight and all) and the Nyth mouse at Gamescom 2014 in Cologne, Germany, this August (2014). Availability is scheduled for later this year.
