The two gaming devices feature 'serious German engineering'

With the 2012 edition of the Consumer Electronics Show on the way, ROCCAT decided to jump the gun a bit and already unravel two products that will be on display.

Not release, though, since this is only an official introduction and not a product release.

After all, the company has to save its ammo for the 2012 edition of CES.

As such, the Isku illuminated keyboard and the Kone[+] gaming mouse are only going to start selling around January 10-13.

The keyboard has a price of $150, which is almost 114 Euro, while the mouse will cost $100 (76 Euro, give or take).

Of course, knowing how European prices seldom reflect exchange rates, it is more likely that the tags will be somewhat higher.

That said, the two items are more or less everything that a gamer could expect from something with “serious German engineering.”

"Only ROCCAT can deliver on that promise," says Rene Korte, ROCCAT Founder and CEO. "Our engineers create the technology and look that today's sophisticated gamers crave. We can't wait to team up with US players and strut our stuff."

ROCCAT already has the product pages up and running, where it precisely outlines all the details, and it even mentions the Talk system, which lets them directly communicate with each other.

As expected, much anti-ghosting and macros are involved, along with programmable buttons and the like.

“Pro gamers in other parts of the world already know what our gear can do,” Korte says. “Now's our chance to share that excitement with American gamers. We're bringing a bold innovation to the table that sets us far apart from other gaming companies.”

ROCCAT's Talk system “optimizes your command input options and raises your in-game efficiency.”
