RKWard 0.6.1 Receives New Plugins and Improvements

RKWard, a utility that aims to provide an extensible and easy-to-use IDE/GUI for the R-project, is now at version 0.6.1.

RKWard can combine the R-language project with the ease of use of commercial statistical packages. The developers have assured us that even if RKWard is still in development, it has already proved quite useful.

Highlights of RKWard 0.6.1:

• An option to force-close a graphics window has been added; • A plugin has been added for subsetting data.frames by rows or columns; • A crash that occurred when trying to print, and neither okular, nor kpdf was available, has been fixed; • Support for the upcoming R 3.0.0 has been added.

Download RKWard 0.6.1 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
