RIM Offers $40 Worth of Free Apps to BlackBerry 7.1 OS Users

Research In Motion (RIM) has just kicked off a new promotional offer for BlackBerry users. The Canadian company offers a set of free apps worth of $40.

Dubbed “Compliments of BlackBerry,” the promotional offer runs from November 6 and through December 31, 2012.

Unfortunately, only BlackBerry 7.1 OS users in Canada are eligible for this promotional offer. Those who are still on BlackBerry 7.0 OS are recommended to upgrade to 7.1 OS in order to take advantage of these free apps.

The following apps are now available as free downloads via BlackBerry App World:

Shazam Encore, BeWeather, TuneIn Radio Pro, Photo Studio PRO, BePopup – Message Preview, Jingu Smileys Premium, SmartAlerts, Jingu Text Premium, Screen Muncher, Sticky Notes, Wallpaper Notes, N.O.V.A for BBM, Super Color LED, The Adventures of Tintin, Anti Theft with Phone Tracer, Where’s Wally Now, Midnight Bowling 2 and GPS Ski Maps.
