Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion has just announced that it would host the annual BlackBerry World conference in Orlando, Florida, between May 3-5, 2011.

At the event, RIM expects to be able to deliver the latest details on its BlackBerry platform to business leaders, IT professionals, BlackBerry Channel Partners, software vendors and solution providers.

The company also announced that attendees at the BlackBerry World will receive first-hand advice from industry experts, as well as in-depth view of BlackBerry products and services.

At the conference some of today’s leading mobile thinkers will be present to keynote, and over 100 breakout sessions, Hands-on Labs, BlackBerry training, certification opportunities and more are planned for the event.

“Over 150 sponsors from across the industry are expected to be on hand to demonstrate and discuss their products and services within the Solutions Showcase,” the company announced.

“BlackBerry World attendees will also have opportunities to gain valuable hands-on experience with the latest BlackBerry products, including the new BlackBerry PlayBook tablet.”

Some of the platinum sponsors for BlackBerry World 2011 would include Adobe, CSC, IBM and SAP. Gold sponsors would be AT&T, BoxTone, Brightpoint, Brightstar, Cisco, EMS, Fixmo, HP, Mitel Networks, Open Text, Sprint, Tata Consultancy Services, T-Mobile USA, Verizon Wireless, VOX Mobile, and Zenprise.

Among the tracks and sessions planned for the BlackBerry World this year, the handset vendor announced WES Tracks, Channel Tracks, and the BlackBerry Alliance Summit.

RIM announced for the conference Wireless Enterprise Symposium (WES) tracks meant to offer insights from industry analysts and other experts into the manner in which the Blackberry offering can meet the needs of business, IT, and developers.

BlackBerry Channel Partners present that the BlackBerry World would have the opportunity to choose from different exclusive tracks through which they can increase their knowing on the BlackBerry solution. Moreover, they can also discuss business opportunities, and explore best practices.

“Channel Partners include global carriers/wireless operators, carrier affiliates, dealers, national retailers, distributors, and IT resellers,” the mobile phone maker explains.

The BlackBerry Alliance Summit will take place on Monday May 2, 2011, being an event exclusively meant for BlackBerry Alliance Members, who will be updated on the Blackberry platform, and will be able to connect with RIM business development teams.
