Despite the fact that anticipation has been building up for this handset and numerous rumors surrounded it, so far, we only had fragments of information to provide you with. Finally, here is something more on the handset that's bound to generate a hype greater than the one Apple's iPhone caused.

BlackBerry Storm 9500 / 9530 features a high resolution 3.25-inch 480 x 260 resolution touchscreen that switches between portrait and landscape view. Fast and accurate, the touchscreen provides a natural typing experience, while, using the built-in light sensing technology, the device automatically adjusts screen and keyboard brightness for indoors or outdoors use. Also, users get SureType and a full QWERTY keyboard.

The phone also has a built-in 3.2 MP camera with digital zoom, built-in flash, autofocus, image stabilization video recording view on the wide screen. It features a full HTML browser that you can use to surf the Internet, while, with the 3G network support and Tethered modem, users should be able to stay connected anytime, anywhere. The phone also provides social networking (Facebook), BlackBerry Media Sync and multimedia features, so users can keep themselves entertained whenever and whatever way they want. With 1GB of built-in memory and 128 flash memory, it also comes with a media card slot for more space. Other features are mini USB port, stereo Bluetooth and assisted GPS.

With all the goodies that it provides, the BlackBerry 9500 / 9530 is sure to cause quite a "storm" when it hits the market, just like it was designed to do. Hopefully, the estimated “very soon” release date that Verizon announced would better be sometime soon, since it seems that fans are growing more and more impatient. This being said, let's just hope that the expected launch date won't be delayed and that, by the end of October, we'll have the device in our hands.
