Joe Riccitelli, who acts as Head of Promotions at Sony's lead label RCA, recently phoned in on Coast 93.3 with Tony Knorp to talk about projects from artists signed to RCA to keep an eye out for in 2012.

You can hear his interview in full below, but just know that the label has major surprises in store for us in the new year.

Britney Spears is perhaps one of the label's biggest albums that will be spending 2012 on the sidelines. After a new album and an extensive world tour, she's taking the year out.

Or, as Knorp puts it and Riccitelli confirms, “to be a mom, be with her family and get married.”

However, we still have new albums coming from Pink, Christina Aguilera and, last but not least, Adam Lambert.

All three have projects in the pipeline and, while Riccitelli doesn't want to commit to a date for any of them, it's safe to assume Adam's album will drop first, followed by Christina's and then Pink's.

Check out the interview and let us know: which release are you most excited about?
