Almost two weeks ago, Benedict Cumberbatch did a dramatic reading of the lines of one of R. Kelly’s songs, “Genius,” causing a wave of hysteria online among his diehard fans, with good reason, of course. It’s now time for R. Kelly to get his “revenge.”

While Cumberbatch did what he does best, ACT, R. Kelly opted to do the same. So, when it came to getting back at the actor by doing his own version of his lines as Khan in “Star Trek Into Darkness,” the most recent installment in the “Star Trek” movie franchise, he sang the words.

You can see his hilarious way of “getting back” at Cumberbatch in the video above.

While fans are still debating online who was better, Cumberbatch or R. Kelly, I would like to say just this: they should keep doing that for a while longer because it’s fun. It would also be more helpful in terms of aiding fans come to a conclusion. Nah, I kid: it would be simply fun.

I have also embedded Cumberbatch’s original video below. If my 2 cents are worth anything, I’d say his version was better, but R. Kelly also did a fine job.
