R. Kelly's younger brother, Carey, claims the R&B star wanted him to take the fall for his kiddie-porn scandal and that the two "ain't brothers no more."
Kelly's younger sibling has released a low-budget DVD in which he accuses his brother of trying to get him to commit perjury. Kelly allegedly wanted Carey to claim he was the real star of the infamous sex tape that prompted child-pornography charges against the "Trapped in the Closet" singer.
"I got a call about a year and a half ago," Carey says on the DVD produced by the Drahma Magazine. "My brother wanted me to do some (bleep) pertaining to this case that would leave me behind bars with a record deal. Since I couldn't lie for him in a court of law, we're back to beefing again."
Carey alleges that Kelly offered him $50,000, a record deal and a house if he would perjure himself on the witness stand.
Although the failed musician was living in an abandoned building and sleeping in his car at the time, Carey says the money and fame "was not worth it to me."
"I'd rather get it on my own than sell my soul, so that's why I'm speaking the truth," he said.
Carey also accuses his older bro of abusing his wife, trying to molest their other brother's daughter and of molesting their 12-year-old second cousin. But the real icing on the cake came when Carey hinted that Kelly was bisexual!
"He's in the closet for real," Carey told New York radio station Hot 97.
A spokesperson for R. Kelly declined to comment to MTV News beyond calling the accusations "ridiculous."
Although he insists it's all true, Carey does have some credibility issues. He recently was released from prison on theft charges and openly holds a grudge against his brother, whom he claims owes him royalties for his contributions to several tracks on the 1993 album "12 Play."
