Apple just released the iPod shuffle in four new colors, and this was the main highlight on their website for the week that is coming to an end, but they also added a couple of other new products. Now, that the spirits have started to cool down after this happening, people started to discover that apart from the orange, green, blue and pink shuffles, other interesting things are now available. Since you still have a little time left until the free laser engraving offer runs out, I guess you may be interested in some accessories for the iPod gifts you have in mind for this year's Valentine's Day, so here you go...

The iPod Radio Remote for the 5G and nano, as well as the iPod AV Connection Kit are the products that have been updated to keep up with the current line of accessories from Apple.

First, the original iPod Radio Remote, released back in January 2006, included a shortened pair of the classic iPod Earphones, and a combination between a remote control and a radio tuner, similar to the design of the 2G iPod shuffle. Now, the updated version includes the latest iPod Earphones, but no major changes were done to the remote itself.

Next on the list, Apple's iPod AV Connection Kit comes with the same major parts as the previous version - a Universal Dock, iPod AV Cable, iPod Dock Connector to USB Cable, Apple Remote, and USB Power Adapter. The only change is that the USB Power Adapter has been updated with the smaller one that became available back in September, 2006.

Although the updated Radio Remote and AV Connection Kit are not always available in-store where you expect them to be, it is good to know that the Apple Store was not down only to bring color to the shuffle line of products...
