Tower CPU coolers would normally make people think of huge, hulking things that don't fit in just any PC case, but Noctua has something different to sell.

The NH-U line isn't really new, but the NH-U12S and NH-U14S definitely are.

The former is, like most of its siblings, equipped with a 120mm fan, and made with a fairly thin heatsink.

The latter is the first one with a 140 mm fan, making it the largest of its peers. The new NF-A15 140 mm fan is installed on it.

The slim design is meant to ensure easy access to RAM. Motherboards, especially small ones, sometimes have the memory slots so close to the CPU socket that wide coolers interfere with the space normally needed by DRAM modules.

Sales should start soon, for EUR 59.90 / USD 64.90 (NH-U12S) and EUR 69.90 / USD 74.90 (NH-U14S).
