Activision is bent on making the most out of its James Bond license, and has just launched two different titles featuring the famous British spy, GoldenEye 007 and Blood Stone 007, for the Wii, and the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS, respectively.

We just had a quick look at the new Blood Stone title, which embarks on a whole new story featuring James Bond, and isn't tied, like the last game, to any of the books or movies.

Is Bond's new adventure worth your time or does its license to kill just go to waste? Let's find out.

Those that played 2008's Quantum of Solace, published by Activision and developed by Treyarch, will find a lot of common things in this new game, even if it was made by Bizarre Creations.

Blood Stone uses the same engine, almost the same mechanics, but things have been tweaked to provide a much better experience, and new features, like the ability to extract information or use your (branded) mobile phone to detect enemies, have been added.

James Bond, portrayed by Daniel Craig, is once again at the top of his game, and is serving her Majesty's secret service in a not so subtle way.

The opening level will have you parachute onto yachts, blow them up, chase bad guys with power boats through Athens' harbors, as well as drive Bond's trademark Aston Martin through the streets of the Greek city.

Bizarre really managed to capture the feel of a Bond movie, with impressive set pieces and intense action, but the engine and the graphics are showing their age.

The shooting is pretty much the same, but this time Bond really has a lot of close quarter stealth maneuvers, as any self respecting spy should have.

Sure, you can shoot your way through the camp of the bad guys, but it's much nicer if you stay in cover and karate chop those unfortunate enough to patrol the area.

Up until now, James Bond Blood Stone 007 is looking pretty decent, and even if it might not sell a lot during this crowded holiday season, might make a few Bond fans happy.
