Apple informs in a Support document on its web site that Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation) devices can access content from many third-party content providers. If you’re having issues, talk to them, says the Cupertino giant.

KB article HT4799 explains that the content from these services is only routed through the Apple TV - “streamed directly from the third-party content provider,” says Apple. In other words, the Apple TV is not responsible for any subsequent issues that may occur.

In Apple’s own words, the content in question “may be subject to issues, such as service outages, that are beyond Apple's ability to control.”

To get information or support from a third-party content provider, Apple provides handy links for anyone owning a second-generation Apple TV, or a third-generation set-top box.

“For general information or support from one of the following third-party content providers, contact the provider directly,” says the company. Visit Apple here to see who to talk to in case Netflix, Hulu, MLB, Vimeo, or Flickr begins acting up.
