QuestRun is a small J-RPG-inspired tactical game with roguelike elements, a fast-paced action-filled modern take on old-school role-playing game battle systems.

It lacks the stuffy dialogues and Tolkienesque storylines, opting instead to throw players directly into battles in variously themed dungeons.

The game engine has heroes and monsters going at it automatically, and the player's role is to choose which hero will face which enemy, distributing loot, choosing skills and so on.

Three randomly selected heroes are available on each dungeon, each one with its unique strengths and weaknesses, specific items and skills.

Random events will also spruce things up, forcing players to choose between two equally perilous scenarios.

Pets are also part of this game, if you drop an item on your pet you'll be rewarded with that pet's bonus, a life or a potion, maybe a new weapon and much, much more.

QuestRun developer Cuve Games is a small indie France-based two-man studio.

The game is currently featured on Steam Greenlight and also sports a demo version.
