The inevitable happened. After Tarantino fumed in the media about his script being leaked following his presentation to only six people, the script has made its way online and we can have a look at all the juicy details, courtesy of The Wrap.

The first thing that grabs our attention is the fact that Quentin wanted to shoot the movie on 70mm film. For those cinema buffs with little technological know-how, 70mm is a rare breed of stock film, which is very expensive but, on the upshot, it offers high definition quality.

The opening paragraph from the script states: “A breathtaking 70MM filmed (as is the whole movie) snow covered mountain range. A stagerring opening vista, set to appropriate music. Then in the bottom left of the big 70MM SUPER CINEMASCOPE FRAME, we see a STAGECOACH being pulled by a team of SIX HORSES ...”

The story revolves around some bounty hunters, probably Madsen and Jackson, returning their human loot to the town of Red Rock. They take shelter from a blizzard at a haberdashery where some other shady characters reside and from here, it gets violent.

The scenes are said to be classic Tarantino, with lots of blood, some Russian roulette, a speck of vomit and lots of duplicity. Knowing Tarantino, there's bound to be a Mexican standoff, especially since this is a Western.

At the moment, the director is still unsure if he'll ever do the movie, but he did concede that he was going to turn it into a published book. He's still looking for the culprits involved in this leak and his circle of suspects is narrowing each day.

Meanwhile, the media is debating whether or not Quentin overreacted in his rash decision to drop the film as soon as the script leaked. The judges are still out on that one, but most people tend to side with the director, who is known for putting a lot of soul into his projects.
