Legendary rock band Queen has never been the same since its frontman Freddie Mercury died, so it's very big news that a track featuring his vocals is going to be released.

The one to break the news was guitarist Brian May, who has just made a successful recovery from prostate cancer. He took Queen's official website to update the fans on his health but also about a new project coming out.

“I had a great day in the studio today anyway, even before the welcome news,” his message said. “And some Queen magic is happening... I can feel it in my bones. It's annoying to have to be so secretive, but I guess I have to, for now.”

He goes on to reveal, “What I can say is the track we dusted off today has the four of us, Freddie, John, Roger and myself, playing together on a track we'd forgotten about that was never finished,” leaving fans in agonizing anticipation.

It's not every day that a long-lost Queen song surfaces, and especially one that, May says, sounds “so fresh.” The guitarist goes on to express his surprise but also his gratitude that no one got the recording and leaked it to the media during all these years.
