Quantum Conundrum, the puzzle game coming from Portal co-creator Kim Swift and her team at Airtight Games, is now available for pre-order on the PC platform, via Steam, in two different versions - a standard one that includes just the game, and a Season Pass one that includes the game, its soundtrack, and free access to the two DLC packs planned for it.

While Portal may be the work of Valve, the original idea was shaped by Kim Swift, who has now partnered with Square Enix to release Quantum Conundrum, a downloadable puzzle game that’s out for the PC on June 21, and for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles this summer.

Pre-orders for the game are now available via Steam in the form of a standard edition, which includes just the game, and a Season Pass version, which adds the title’s soundtrack and access to two future DLC packs that will be released in the near future.

If you pre-order either version, you’ll also receive three special items that can be used in Team Fortress 2, which you can check out below.

The Atomic Accolade - Skip past all the boring busywork of science and get right to the exciting part: the fabulous prizes! This prestigious ribbon certifies your bravery in the field of excellence.

The Quadwrangler - This quantum-collared lab coat includes a handy rubber pipe that siphons blood from your heart, where it is not needed, to your shooting arm, where it is!

The Professor's Pineapple - We don't know what's in it, but we found it in some rusty drums buried in a shallow grave in a forest, so let's face it, you'll probably get super powers if you drink it.

What’s more, as a special bonus, those who pre-order the game on Steam will be entered in a sweepstake to have their likeness painted by the Quantum Conundrum staff and placed in the virtual mansion of Professor Quadwrangle.

Quantum Conundrum is out for the PC on June 21 and hits the PS3 and Xbox 360 this summer, as a downloadable experience.

Until then, check out a new trailer of the quirky puzzle game below.
