We are just a few days apart from seeing the real HTC One M9

Countless things have been written about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 handsets, which we are expecting to see get unveiled towards the end of the week at MWC 2015 in Barcelona.

Yesterday the very first promotional video having the HTC One M9 at its center made rounds online, shedding light on what the handset will look like.

We have been telling you before that the new device is probably going to look very much like its predecessor, the HTC One M8, and it appears this will indeed be the case.

Sure the Taiwanese company did some tweaking with the buttons, but when it comes to overall form factor and appearance, the One M8 and One M9 look very much alike.

Qualcomm invites you to keep an eye on its next Snapdragon 810 phone

Anyway, in anticipation of the big unveiling, Qualcomm posted a teaser on Twitter announcing that a new Snapdragon 810 smartphone is coming.

So far, the only handsets bundling the controversial platform that have been officially launched are the LG G Flex 2 and the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro.

Snapdragon also teased an image which shows the outlines of a smartphone and we can only guess we’re looking at the One M9, although its shadowy contour makes it impossible for us to be sure 100%.

According to the rumor mill, the HTC One M9 is anticipated to arrive with a 5-inch display with 1080p, exactly like the One M9 (although there have been whispers of 2K too).

On the inside, the One M9 will pack a Snapdragon 810 combined with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (which is expandable to 128GB via microSD card).

In the photography department, we’re seeing a primary 20MP sensor with optical image stabilization and dual LED plus dual color flash, while in the front lives an UltraPixel camera with special software

But will the HTC One M9 be the only handset sporting a Snapdragon 810 set to be unveiled at MWC 2015?

Will Lenovo also launch a Snapdragon 810-power phone?

We’re not exactly sure. Earlier this month, the Lenovo Vibe Z3 Pro leaked online revealing a 5.5-inch beast packing 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and a Snapdragon 810 chip fitted with 4GB of RAM.

Lenovo is expected to come to Barcelona and unveil a slew of devices, but we’re not so sure whether the Vibe Z3 Pro will be one of them or not. We’ll just have to wait and see.
