Apple has the iPad 3 in the works, ASUS has its own high-res product on the way for MWC 2012 and, now, Qualcomm is preparing its own device.

Long story short, Qualcomm has entered a partnership with Master Image 3D.

Together, they will create a Mobile Development Platform (MPD) tablet using the latter's glasses-free 3D panel.

The screen will measure 10.1 inches and will boast the WUXGA resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, plus MasterImage 3D’s Cell-Matrix Parallax Barrier technology.

A demonstration will occur during the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, Spain (February 27 - March 1). A Snapdragon S4 processor will lie at the heart of the slate.

Qualcomm's 2D to 3D conversion technology will also be implemented and, needless to say, the operating system will be Android 4.0.

We're definitely going to keep an eye out for this thing.
