North America's biggest BYOC LAN party is also Bethesda's showcase event

Bethesda has announced that the 19th edition of QuakeCon will take place in July this year, almost a month earlier than usual.

The latest post on Bethesda's Blog informs that this year's edition has been moved forward by a couple of weeks, and reservations for the event have already started.

The QuakeCon forums hold more information as well as facilitate making plans with friends, and the post also advises to reference QuakeCon 2014 when making reservations in order to benefit from the special event hotel rate.

The event schedule features game presentations, contests, various entertaining surprises, panel discussions, announcements and parties.

Since ZeniMax, parent company of Bethesda, has also acquired id Software, QuakeCon will surely come with some exclusive reveals, demos and presentations from the renowned developers.

North America's largest LAN party, QuakeCon 2014, will take place between July 17 – July 20, hosted by the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas. Attendees will have to bring their own computers for the event.
