Video game developer and publisher Bethesda has announced that it has plans to re-launch the Xbox 360 version of Quake 4 on June 19 in North America and three days later in the European countries of the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland and Austria.

The game will be sold for 19.99 dollars and the same amount of Euros.

The player will take on the role of Matthew Kane, a member of the legendary Rhino Squad, and will guide his actions as he battles the Strogg aliens.

The narrative of Quake 4 follows the human assault on the core Strogg planet and offers a familiar, for the series, blend of fast-paced shooting and over-the-top storytelling.

The game was first launched in late 2005, and so far the development team at id Software has not offered any information on a possible follow-up.

The team launched the RAGE first-person shooter during 2011.
