A few moments ago, just after the release of the Game Ready driver for GRID: Autosport and Battlefield: Hardline Beta titles, namely NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 340.43 Beta, the producer has made available the same graphics package targeted at its Quadro, GRID, and NVS cards.

This newly-released update is to be applied on both desktops and notebooks that are running under Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems. Still, bear in mind that version 340.43 beta mustn’t be installed on Vista notebook configurations.

When it comes to changes, this fresh version adds support for CUDA 6.5, includes various OpenGL hardware acceleration improvements for Windows Remote Desktop and adds several workstation compatibility fixes.

In addition to that, the issue with Unity 3D frame rate loss when the application is used on a Quadro K5000 card is resolved, and the Quadro K6000 graphics device will now have the DisplayPort in-band professional stereo signaling option disabled by default.

Moreover, this beta release resolves a phenomenon spotted on Quadro K5000 cards where a “Driver not Responding” error would occur when resizing the EON Reality Viewer 8 stereo window.

That being said, if you intend to upgrade your graphics chipset to this version, simply download NVIDIA Quadro Graphics Driver 340.43 Beta for the proper bit architecture, and apply the package on your system
