The fact that the Chinese mobile market is a strong one is definitely not news. After all, it has “only” a little over 1 billion inhabitants. Considering that most mobile phones companies produce their phones there, it is only understandable that they have access to several interesting toys. Interesting and cheap, as it turns out.
It has been recently announced that the JINCEN JC777s is on sale for only $138. Furthermore, should you be interested in the offer, know that you don't have to live in China in order to get one such device, since online stores have it available as well, so chances are good you may get one ASAP.
This
quadband phone really packs a lot of stuff for little money – so, if you happen to be wondering whether that’s because of its poor quality, you might as well feel free to do so. However, odds are it is not because of this reason. Either way, at the relatively small price you have to pay for you, you could just as well be tempted to see it as a season throw-away device.
Then again, the phone does look good. One disadvantage might be considered the fact that it is a bit bulky (119 x 58 x 17mm), but that’s because it packs a 3.0-inch
touchscreen display with 260k colors at a 240 x 320 pixel resolution. Being quadband, it will operate all around the world; plus, you can forget about changing SIM cards from one phone to another, because this one is a dual SIM as well. It also provides Bluetooth, USB, has a built-in analog TV, handwritten & keyboard input, MP3 / MP4 player, FM radio, handsfree, microSD card slot, WAP wireless Internet access and GPRS. Moreover, it also comes with two batteries (2000 mAh), along with the standard USB cable, charger and headset.
Interesting little thing, isn't it? Of course, it lacks lots of other features, but at the same time, given its price tag, this really shouldn't count. Despite the small pricing, it seems to be mid-range designed, so we'll just have to see what happens with this JINCEN JC777s, and whether we're going to hear more about it.
