XOLO officially introduced the Q900T about a week ago and confirmed that the smartphone should go on sale in India for around Rs 11,499 ($200 / €145) outright.

However, AndroidOS reports that the smartphone has just been released in India and customers can purchase it via online retailers like Flipkart for only Rs 10,999 ($185 / €135) off contract.

Given the fact that the smartphone was officially announced last week and we have already reported on it, we can confirm that there are no surprises regarding the Q900T’s software and hardware configuration.

However, for those unfamiliar with XOLO’s Q900T specs, here is a quick recap. According to the Indian OEM, the smartphone should be equipped with a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 Turbo processor, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

The smartphone ships with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but it won’t come as a surprise if XOLO offers a KitKat upgrade in the not so distant future.

XOLO Q900T also sports a 4.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and an enhanced 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.
