Dell has already expanded its product lineup with the Studio XPS 9100 desktop, but it appears that the PC maker is not ready to stop just yet. In fact, the consumer base may become acquainted with yet another personal computer configuration quite soon, though the exact time of arrival is still unknown. Granted, the release will be more of an update to an already existing PC, but the new hardware options will definitely raise its performance bar up a notch. The computer in question is the Inspiron Zino 410.
Inspiron Zino 410 is based on the AMD mobile platform and its upcoming iteration
will be configurable with a significant number of CPUs. The Athlon II Series will obviously be featured, as will dual-core AMD Turion II chips and Phenom II central processing units with two, three or four cores. The rest of the feature set is made in such a way as to complement the capabilities of the selected chip.
For one, end-users can add a significant amount of memory to their laptop, up to 8GB of RAM to be exact. Also, they will be able to settle for the Integrated ATI Radeon HD 4250 graphics if they are not particularly interested in advanced video capabilities. Still, for everyone else, the Mobility Radeon HD 5450 discrete card is implementable and eager to supply the machine with DirectX 11 support. Furthermore, a 3.5-inch SATA hard disk drive provides the necessary storage space. As for connectivity and I/O options, Dell threw in the obligatory Gigabit Ethernet, a 4-in-1 card reader, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and D-Sub and HDMI video outputs.
Unfortunately, as is often the case with leaks and rumors, there is, for now, no mention of exact pricing or availability. When they do show up, however, they will be purchasable directly from Dell's official website.
