Qt Creator 3.2, a cross-platform IDE (integrated development environment) tailored to the needs of Qt developers and part of the Qt Project, is now available for download.

The Digia developers have released the stable version of the latest Qt Creator, but this latest update doesn’t bring anything major.

“Enterprise Qt Creator users can now also use the QML profiler to debug their JavaScript memory usage in QML. (This is only available when using Qt 5.4 for the debugged application.),” says Digia's Eike Ziller.

The developer also explains that there is a problem with the online installer sometimes not removing old files when updating components, but this issue should be fixed in the upcoming releases.

According to the changelog, block selections in text editors now allow you to do “column editing,” meaning that all selected lines are edited simultaneously, the context help can now be configured to open in an external window (without disabling Help mode), the support for C99 designated initializers and concatenated strings has been added to the C++ code model, and more panes are now searchable with Ctrl+F.

A complete list of changes can be found in the official announcement. You can download Qt Creator 3.2 right now from Softpedia.
