Already named The Best iOS App to Watch on Apple TV, Qello is now available on iPhone and iPad as the premier source for HD concert, films and music documentaries streamed on demand.

The software boasts a clean design and intuitive navigation. Users can search the catalog by genre, decade, or artist name and they can employ Qello's Recommendations tool for further discovery. The app scans a user's iTunes library and makes suggestions based on their existing content.

Qello has announced a partnership with EMI. The end result was the addition of some prominent artists to the library, including Coldplay, Radiohead, Gorillaz, Norah Jones, and many others.

Subscribers will be able to stream concerts within the next few weeks. Also a key partner, Eagle Rock will provide HD concert films and music documentaries.

Qello CEO Brian Lisi says, "Qello represents a new dimension in HD concert entertainment that offers music lovers an easy-to-use way to engage in the live music experience whenever they want to - on any iOS device."

Qello 1.0.1 for iPhone and iPad “is packed with dozens of enhancements,” according to its makers.

The app is Retina-optimized, it has improved Facebook login and social sharing, speed improvements for Recommendations, convenient links to artist music on iTunes Store, improved Browse filters and search features, a brand new "Play Entire Show" button, improved AirPlay support, and bug fixes.

Qello is a free download. The app is loaded with one track from every show, as well as a continuous stream of concert footage called Qello TV.

Users can unlock unlimited access to every concert by subscribing to a monthly plan - $4.99 (around 3.8 EUR) per month. Quello is a universal app designed for both iPhone and iPad.
