Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, the latest Android-based smartphone from the Japanese mobile phone maker, will allow users to enjoy great imaging features when paired with the company’s QX10 or QX100 lens-style camera, it seems.

To ensure that, Sony has made available a camera attachment case for the smartphone, now available under the name of SPA-ACX4. Xperia Z1 Compact packs a 20MP camera, and might not need said lens, but they could come in handy for some users.

The case was released in Japan for the Xperia Z1 f (the local version of the mobile phone), with a price tag of 2,980 Yen (£17, €21, $29) attached to it, as XperiaBlog notes.

Unfortunately, no specific info on when the accessory will become available for purchase in other markets around the world has been provided as of now, though Sony might unveil such details in the not too distant future.
