14 DAY TRIAL // One of the Original Equipment Manufacturers to have joined the Windows Phone party is Vietnamese company Q-Mobile, which has made official a nice range of devices running under the mobile operating system, including the Q-Mobile Storm W610 and Storm W510.
Both of these handsets come to the market with the Windows Phone 8.1 platform version loaded on top right from the start, and should become available for purchase in Vietnam in the not-too-distant future.
The Q-Mobile Storm W610 is the larger of the two, featuring a 6-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.
The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8212 processor paired with Adreno 302 graphics and 1GB of RAM, and also sports 8GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.
Moreover, the new device sports an 8-megapixel camera on the back, with LED flash and support for HD video recording, as well as a 2MP front camera for making video calls while on the move.
The Q-Mobile Storm W610 comes to the market with HSPA 42Mbps connectivity, as well as with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS receiver. It also includes a 2600mAh battery, along with dual-SIM capabilities, as info coming from tinhte reveals.
The Q-Mobile Storm W510 has been announced with a 5-inch touchscreen display that can deliver an FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution, as well as with the aforementioned 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8212 processor with Adreno 302 GPU.
At the same time, the new device sports 1GB of RAM, along with 4GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot that allows users to add up to 32GB of external storage to it.
The same as its larger counterpart, the new Storm W510 features an 8-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash, and a 2MP front camera for making video calls.
The handset also comes with HSPA connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, GPS receiver, dual-SIM capabilities, and a 2300mAh battery.
The new Q-Mobile Storm W610 has been announced with a price tag of 3,990,000 VND ($188/€140) attached to it, will arrive on the market in two color versions, namely White and Blue (though WMPoweruser reports that this model will actually be Green).
Q-Mobile Storm W510, on the other hand, should sport a price tag of 3,490,000 VND ($165/€123) when released, while expected to be put up for sale in the same color versions. Unfortunately, no info on the availability of these phones outside Vietnam has been provided as of now.
