The first Beta version of the upcoming PyGObject 3.10 library, for the GNOME 3.10 desktop environment, was announced a few days ago, bringing assorted fixes and improvements.

PyGObject 3.10 Beta 1 fixes four bugs, which makes the library more reliable and ready for usage when the GNOME 3.10 desktop environment is unveiled, on September 25, 2013.

Thanks to Benjamin Berg, it is now possible to create GLib.Pid in the same way on both Python 2 and 3, as well as to use PyLong_Type.tp_new for GLib.Pid.

Also, thanks to Simon Feltman, accumulator and accu_data arguments were added to the GObject.Signal decorator, and return values can now be passed through the GObject.Signal.emit wrapper.
