Looks like Ableton is coming again among the top preferences once the new version of the Live series was released. More and more software is being developed for Ableton 6 Live and these days it's the turn
for Puremagnetik to issue new code designed for Ableton.

The new piece of software is Microdrum, a groove drum sequencer, unique in its kind, containing 5 banks of drum kits and more than 50 Groovetracks. It also sports 30 percussion menus to help you get the most of it.

Microdrum works in a 16-step pattern sequence, which is actually based on the earlier Magnetik Step 16 rack-array for each voice. Users will find working with quite effective as the timbres and tones can be adjusted and tweaked on the fly as they actually play. The macro-controls allow a perfect integration in Ableton 6 Live so the Microdrum can be effortlessly set up and programmed (even further tweaked) using Ableton controls.

The Puremagnetik Microdrum contains Studio 1 and 2 Acoustic Drums, MoxBox (analog 909 type kit), Percussao (ethnic/world drums) and Elektrodrum Kits (a sample collection from Puremagnetik Elektrodum pack). Add quickstart lessons for newbies in the field and the very convenient (yet not announced) prices Puremagnetik has always pulled for us and start thinking about how will your next Ableton projects sound...
