A little something for baseball fans

So you have a basketball sim, a soccer sim, a football sim, golf sim, but do you have a baseball sim? If the answer is no, it's about time to get a taste of computer simulated baseball by downloading the new demo released for PureSim Baseball.

You will probably say that a demo for PureSim Baseball was already out but note that this is an all-new version, which has 20 new features, 20 tweaks and 40 bugs fixes. This is the v1.51 version of the game's demo and weighs in some 106 MB. So if you are a baseball fan, you don't have to wait for the baseball season to start, but you can download the demo and start devising strategies to come out the victor of the baseball league.

PureSim Baseball 2007 uses an automatically generated database, containing loads of pages of detailed stats and information about team and players. Although it uses standard HTML formatting, this feature is integrated into the game, and can also be published on the web. The database is licensed so that baseball enthusiasts can play with all the legendary teams from 1900 to 2006.

This game also has implemented an aging system, the parks and leagues are fully customizable (imagine playing the NY Yankees in an away match on the Cub's stadium), so it will probably turn out to be a commercial success.

You can also play PureSim Baseball 2007 online, but I guess this will happen in the full version of the game, which is already out since May. But Matrix Games wants you to have a taste of the game before you buy it, and you can do so by downloading it from HERE.
