Puppy is the actual name of the device invented by BeLuvv

If you're looking for your lost pet, you're not likely to send your puppy out to find him or her, but BeLuvv decided to play with the word a bit.

Long story short, it made a pet collar called Puppy. Said collar can connect to Bluetooth and lets you keep track of where your pet is at.

Well, it's actually just a pendant meant to be hung from your dog's collar.

Anyway, it connects to a smartphone app via Bluetooth LE (Bluetooth low energy) and, in case your pet wanders out of range of your phone, it can connect to the Bluetooth range of the devices belonging to your friends or neighbors.

They'll need to allow permission for Puppy to do that though, so be sure to be on good terms with everyone.

It would have been great if Puppy had GPS or RFID onboard, but it doesn't. Alas. At least the price is low: $29.95 / €29.95.
