One of the relatively new mobile browsers for Android devices, Puffin has just received a major update that fixes some of the issues with Android 4.2.

In addition, the latest update brings forth important new features that are meant to improve users’ overall experience, such as support download files to device and new drag-n-drop gesture.

The latter can be achieved by tap and hold on screen and start dragging after the blue circle appears.

Furthermore, devs confirmed the update improves Flash play and battery life, as well as scrolling performance on Nexus 10.

As we have already mentioned, numerous bug fixes for devices powered by Android 4.2 are provided as well, along with a fix for crash issues on devices with Android 2.2.

Puffin Web Browser 2.3.7113 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
