Public Mobile has just released a new affordable Android phone, the ZTE N860. This is the second smartphone manufactured by the Chinese handset maker, which makes its way onto Public Mobile's portfolio.

Customers can grab the ZTE N860 for only $249 CAD off-contract. The smartphone comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system onboard and is likely to be stuck on this version.

Hardware-wise, the device is equipped with a 1 GHz single core processor, a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display and a 5-megapixel rear photo snapper with video recording.

Although there are no details on the phone's storage amount, ZTE confirms the N860 comes with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Last but not least, ZTE N860's Li-Ion battery is rated by the manufacture for up to 250 hours of standby time or up to 4 hours of talk time. Check it out here.
