14 DAY TRIAL // And they dared call him a one-hit wonder. Over the weekend, Psy, the South Korean pop star who wrote YouTube history with his “Gangnam Style,” premiered a new song and video and, you guessed it, it’s already breaking records.
As of now, “Gentleman” stands at nearly 53 million views on YouTube, having already set a new record for the number of views on its first day online.
I can only imagine what the future holds for it.

Even if you’re not a fan of his music (which I admit I’m not), you have to give it to Psy for having the ability to break on a market that’s not exactly known for allowing anyone more than 15 minutes of fame and for showing signs of staying power.
He’s got major swagger, and a manager that knows what they’re doing. You also have to give it to Psy for having an incredible sense of humor and amazing energy in front of the camera.
