Proxmox VE (Virtual Environment), an easy-to-use open-source virtualization platform for running Virtual Appliances and Virtual Machines, is now at version 3.0 RC1.
Proxmox VE 3.0 RC1 includes countless improvements and a lot of exciting new features, like live snapshots for KVM guests.
Highlights of Proxmox VE 3.0 RC1:
• The distribution is now based on Debian 7.0 (Wheezy); • A new VM clone feature has been added; • A new event driven API server (pveproxy) has been added; • bootlogd is now supported; • qemu-kvm has been added to version 1.4.1; • Intel network drivers have been updated for e1000e, igb and ixgbe.
