Prototype 2 Hardened Steel Pre-Order Bonus Available from Best Buy

Activision has just announced a brand new pre-order bonus for those interested in Prototype 2, as they’ll be able to get the Hardened Steel Vehicle Armor upgrade if they pre-purchase the game from Best Buy in North America.

Prototype 2 is getting ready for its April release later this year, so Activision wants to make sure that people will get special goodies if they decide to pre-order the title. The company already presented the Bio-Bomb Butkicker bonus earlier this month and now a brand new incentive, called Hardened Steel, has been announced.

As you can see in the video above, those who get Prototype 2 from Best Buy will receive a special upgrade called Hardened Steel, which adds extra layers of protection onto any vehicle controlled by the players. This means improved resistance for your vehicle and allows you to wreak havoc in New York city.

Prototype 2 is out for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on April 24, in North America, and April 27, in Europe.
