14 DAY TRIAL // Looking for a winter coating of sorts for your Nexus 7? Now you can get one directly from the slate’s manufacturer. That’s right, Google has just unveiled its in-house manufactured case, made from microsuede.
The case has been designed especially for the Nexus 7 so don’t try fitting in other slates. The case is available for orders in the Play store right now, with shipping kick-starting on October 9.
The cases work with both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+ cellular models.
The case also comes with a “Molded Tub and Stand” allowing users to conveniently prop their slate. Google explained on Google Play why the addition was considered necessary.

The case will be available in multiple color combinations ranging from black, white/red to gray/blue and gray/red. US customers can already start ordering theirs for the price of $49.99 / €37.
