At least that's what Barry Schwartz did

Barry Schwartz runs a web design company and his hobby is search engines. That's why his blog is called Searchengineroundtable.com.

Barry has decided to invent an original method of proposing to his girlfriend, Yisha. Since he felt that the ring and flowers weren't enough, Barry thought to make use of his passion, the search engines.

After he kept thinking how to combine the two passions, Barry talked to somebody from AskJeeves and asked for a little favor. The whole idea is that when his girlfriend searches for her own name on AskJeeves, the search engine will display a picture of her and Barry which says "Yisha, will you marry me? Love, Barry" above the classic results.

So, Barry took his girlfriend at the office and asked her to search her name on AskJeeves.com and while the picture was loading, he offered her the ring and flowers.

All we can tell you is that the wedding will take place on March 28, 2006. If you want to find out more, we recommend you Barry and Yisha's web site.
