The fire department is working to pinpoint the cause of a massive blast near Tavares, in Lake County, Florida.

Tavares Fire Chief Richard Keith has dismissed the possibility of the propane factory blast being a result of sabotage.

"It was probably a human or equipment error," he says in a press statement relayed by the Orlando Sentinel.

Fire crews found burning plastic tank caps in a large container at Blue Rhino. They were able to put out the flames by Tuesday morning.

The number of people injured in the blast has risen to eight, but they are not in life-threatening condition.

They were all workers at the plant and no residents have been injured. Keith describes that the facility deals with buying and restoring old propane cylinders and then selling them again.
