Developer Team Dakota has announced that their game creation tool beta has also taken off on the Xbox One, starting today.

The Xbox One version of Project Spark sees the addition of Performance Capture support for the Kinect, allowing users to record their own animations and voices. They can record voice overs and customize their creation, and then share them with the Xbox One and Windows 8 community.

Project Spark creations can be saved to the cloud and then played on either of the two platforms, with standard controls being completely translated from Windows 8 mouse and keyboard input to the Xbox One's controller.

To celebrate the Xbox One beta starting event, Team Dakota has also released a video featuring the many creations that have emerged from the community in the little time since the closed beta has started, in December last year.

With the opening of the beta to the Xbox One community, the developers enable more fans of the robust tool to have a direct impact on the final build of the game and the refining of the revolutionary toolset that allows gamers to create custom adventures and craft their own unique worlds.

Players interested in getting into the Project Spark beta for Xbox One can register on the project's official website.
