The new game is inspired by classic titles like Contra and Metal Slug

Developer Black Forest Games announces that it has recruited Mark Meer, the voice actor best known for his interpretation of Commander Shepard in the Mass Effect trilogy, in order to portray the main character in the upcoming Project Ravensdale, now live on Kickstarter.

The team has recorded a full interview with the voice actor who talks about his involvement with the new game project and with his previous roles.

Black Forest Games is best known for Giana Sisters.

Their new title is a platformer with run and gun mechanics inspired by classic experiences like Metal Slug and Contra.

The core of the game will be focused on the cooperative experience and how players can collaborate to overcome challenges.

Project Ravensdale currently has more than 1,300 backers and is looking to get access to 500,000 dollars (375,000 Euro) with another 22 days to go on Kickstarter.
