Bizarre Creations' Project Gotham Racing 4 isn't a newly announced title, although it is the latest from the racing series. A great deal of time has passed without a single new screenshot or word on the game's development process, but as 1UP posts today, Microsoft has revealed part of the cars available in the game, complete with a couple of screens showing off the breathtaking weather system for the game.

First things first: here are the newly announced cars, known to be available in the game:

- 2004 TVR Sagaris - 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray - 2005 Vanwall GPR V12 - 1993 Toyota Supra Turbo - 2005 Gumpert Apollo - 1997 Panoz GTR-1 Coupe - 2006 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano - 1957 Maserati 250F

I was beginning to lose faith that the list would see a real racing car at all, but my heart rate settled seeing the Supra among the eight.

Project Gotham Racing 4 is the fourth title in the Project Gotham Racing series - the sequel to the Xbox 360 launch title, Project Gotham Racing 3. The game is currently in development at Bizarre Creations' studios, due for a November 2007 release.

Bizarre claims the game will feature improved graphics and faster gameplay than Project Gotham Racing 3, surprising a few people with their change in design emphasis, which makes perfect sense really, if the sequel is going to follow the spotless rep of PGR 1, 2, and 3.

Here's some in-game activity as well, just so you can make a better impression on the next-gen racer.
