The Kickstarter-based funding effort for Project Eternity has ended with the developers at Obsidian managing to draw close to 4 million dollars (3.05 million Euro) in funding, in addition to contributions that they have received via Paypal.

This means that the company has managed to reach its final stretch goal for the game, which means adding general enhancements, ranging from bringing in instruments in order to record the soundtrack to persuading Chris Avellone to actually playing Arcanum.

At the moment Project Eternity has received, thanks to the efforts and the money of the community, 11 classes that the player can choose from, 6 races, 8 companions, a dungeon that goes down for 12 levels, a player house and stronghold that can be customized, two big cities to explore.

The game is aiming to launch during 2014 and gamers will get to experience a whole new fantasy world compete with a lot of factions and characters.
