Video game publisher Microsoft has officially confirmed that the project known as Draco is actually called Crimson Dragon and that overall development is being handled by Yukio Futatsugi, who is best known for creating the Panzer Dragoon series.

The new game will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 home console and will be an on-rails shooter where players ride on a massive dragon, trying to take rivals down out of the sky and make sure that they do not hit any of the incoming obstacles.

The entire experience is being created with the Kinect motion tracking system in mind, with players able to use their right hand in order to lock onto targets and launch homing attacks while the left hand is used to deliver quick, unaimed shots.

All dragons can be customized by the gamers and a light role-playing game system will be used to deliver new powers as the beasts gain more experience from battle.
