14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Slightly Mad Studios revealed the first free car in the upcoming racing simulation video game Project Cars, the stunning Lykan Hypersport.
Saying that the Lykan Hypersport is an exclusive vehicle is an understatement, as only a handful have ever been made, and because the actual engineering wasn't expensive enough, the Lebanese manufacturer also added some diamonds to its headlights.
The car is the third most expensive in the world, only topped by the Lamborghini Veneno and Maybach Exelero, and the first supercar to come out of the Middle East.
With a Porsche engine and able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmh in only 2.8 seconds, the Lykan Hypersport is a force to be reckoned with.
The good news is that although only seven cars will be made in the real world, virtual drivers will be able to get their hands on it for no charge. The Lykan Hypersport is the first in a series of cars that will be given away for free by Slightly Mad Studios each month, as a thank you to Project Cars' fans, who have been very helpful and patient throughout the development process.
A racing game with a ton of potential
As you can see in the showcase video below, the game looks stunning and focuses on accurately portraying the vehicles available for motorsports fans to enjoy at their leisure.
The game was entirely crowdfunded on the developer's own platform, and it is set to deliver the most authentic driving simulation experience available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The game features a variety of tracks and licensed cars, an ample career mode built around the notion of offering a compelling and engrossing single-player experience, and includes a ton of free extra content, to be added post-launch.
Furthermore, the team went to great lengths to ensure that the driving experience feels accurate for its users, creating a complex handling model and in-depth simulations of dynamic weather and day and night cycles.
