Project CARS is supposed to be the ultimate car racing game, which is why Slightly Mad Studios has decided to involve fans of the genre into the development from the start.

With only two months left until Project CARS is slated for release, developers have just launched a new trailer that shows those who are looking for an above-average car racing game why they should consider it for their next purchase.

As Slightly Mad Studios points out, Project CARS players will be able to choose from a wide range of cars. “With Project CARS we wanted to ensure the cars in the game represented truly global motorsports with each of their rules and formats intact,” said Andy Tudor, the game’s creative director.

But that’s not all, as Project CARS is expected to have the largest track roster of any recent racing game with locations from all around the world from Australia to Dubai to Belgium, Japan, US West Coast and the UK.

Lots of customization features and racing locations will be available in the game

There should be more than 250 miles of tarmac that you should be racing on in Project CARS, so variation shouldn’t be an issue for Slightly Mad Studios’ upcoming game.

Furthermore, Project CARS will be accessible to newcomers, as well as to hardcore players, but it will also offer a huge amount of personalization options.

Players will be able to dial the handling to anything from a complete sim experience to something more casual, which should be fit for those who aren’t playing car racing games on a regular basis.

For those out of the loop, Slightly Mad Studios confirmed that Project CARS would be released on March 17, and those who want can already pre-order the game via Steam.

Those who pre-purchase Project CARS will also receive 3 limited-run custom machines: Ruf CTR3 SMS-R, Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadset and Ariel Atom 3 Mugen.
