Facebook customers, particularly ones in the United Kingdom, are advised to be cautious in case they come across a page called “Product Testing UK.” Scammers have set up the page in an effort to lure users to various websites.

“Product Testers Needed. Have your chance to test great gadgets like iPad, Mac & iPhone and after you review them, you get to keep it!” reads the description of the page first spotted by Hoax Slayer.

The page already has close to 350 likes and it continues to encourage Facebook users to register for product testing.

In reality, there’s no product testing an no one gets any Apple devices. The links advertised on the Facebook page point to a website that hosts a script designed to determine the potential victims’ location.

Depending on where they’re located, users are taken to various scam sites where they’re instructed to complete surveys and sign up for all sorts of mobile services.
