Vista and IE chalked logos

This is by no means a case of vandalism. And you can judge that by the afferent images. This is an illustrative example of how to mix company products with contemporaneous artistic expression while also getting a bit of publicity. Well, you have to take that with a tad of irony.

The adjacent images show logos of Windows Vista and Internet Explorer done in chalk on the Microsoft campus. So they do not actually qualify as graffiti, but they more than compensate in the artistic aspect. Also, we must not ignore the history behind the custom of leaving messages for the public on walls which dates back to ancient Rome. The only question that is not answered is if the graffiti are brand new products of Microsoft's expression or simply examples of playful characters at work.

A big thanks goes out to Brandon LeBlanc, 2007 Microsoft MVP for Windows Live, for making these images available.
